You will receive a link to our Registration form, which should take 10-15 minutes to complete. You'll also receive a link to the Enrollment Forms required by the PA Department of Education, which you complete online and submit electronically. Finally, we'll provide you with a list of documents to submit along with the email address or fax number to submit them.
This is the final step to discuss details and finalize your child’s enrollment. We will call you to review school level requirements, discuss your role as a parent, and confirm your PA Virtual start date. We’ll answer any final questions you have and help you prepare for your next important step: Orientation.
Your school year begins with an online Orientation led by experienced PA Virtual teachers. Through daily live sessions, both parents and students begin to utilize the school-issued laptop and software, meet their principals and support staff, and learn more about the academic programs. Support from Orientation teachers continues throughout the remainder of the school year.
Pa Virtual enrolls school-age students, as defined by the PA Department of Education. This includes students from the age of 5 through 21. To enroll in kindergarten, children must meet the age requirements of their resident school district.
Does my family meet the Learning Coach requirements?
PA Virtual requires that a parent/guardian /adult Learning remains at home with the student while the student is attending school in order to provide academic support. The parent/guardian is required to secure and maintain reliable, high-speed internet service (for which PA Virtual provides a stipend)
