The form below is your first step in the process! After completing the form, you will receive an email (remember to check your spam folder) with a link to schedule an introductory call with your Enrollment Specialist. You select a day and time that is convenient, and at that scheduled time, your Enrollment Specialist will call you to walk you through our model of education, gather a little more information, and answer your questions. We’ll finish the call by talking you through the next steps of the enrollment process.
After your introductory phone call, you’ll receive a personalized email that explains the next steps and gives you the tools you need to complete them. You will receive a link to the online registration form, which should take 10-15 minutes to complete, and a list of documentsto submit with the fax or email address for submitting them. Finally, we will provide you with the enrollment forms required by the PA Department of Education, which you complete online and submit electronically.
This is the final step to discuss details and finalize your child’s enrollment. For your Enrollment Conference call, you’ll speak with an Assistant Director of Enrollment. They will review school level requirements with you, walk you through details of your child’s grade level and your role in their education, confirm the information we have about your child, and let you know your PA Virtual start date. They can answer any final questions you have and will help you prepare for your next important step: Orientation.
All new families and students can successfully transition into our virtual model given the necessary support and knowledge. Onboarding begins with a two week online orientation program where students and learning coaches actively participate. Using the school-provided laptop, families and students learn about the various online systems, the organizational structure, and the academic programs. Support from your Orientation Teacher will continue throughout the remainder of the school year.
We use the highly respected K12 curriculum and offer flexibility in learning style with both synchronous (live, online) courses and asynchronous (self-directed, teacher-supervised) courses at all grade levels. While working from home, our students have the support and guidance of certified teachers and principals as well as their Learning Coach. In addition to academic support, we also have staff dedicated to non-academic support. They help with things like guidance services, college and career planning, pupil health services, field trips, attendance, technical support, orientation for new families, parent support and learning, and more.
Students must stay enrolled and attending at their current school while completing the enrollment process. At your Enrollment Conference, you will be given a start date with PA Virtual and a withdrawal date from your current school.
