Students interested in enrolling in our kindergarten program for the 2015-2016 school year must meet the kindergarten age requirement of their resident school district.

Students should remain enrolled and in attendance at their current school until enrollment with PA Virtual is finalized. Please do not withdraw students from their current school until a withdrawal date is established at your Enrollment Conference.

Thank you for your interest in PA Virtual Charter School! We are eager to welcome you and your family to our Community of Partnership, Learning and Achievement.

Enrollment Policy

PA Virtual Charter School is currently accepting eligible students in grades K-12 on a first-come, first-served basis. All students who reside in Pennsylvania are eligible to be admitted. Admission to the school is based on age as well as completion and submission of all enrollment forms and materials. PA Virtual Charter School is a public school open to residents of Pennsylvania and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, family income, national origin, or disability. Students who have been expelled from another school, or students who are currently involved in expulsion proceedings, because their behavior reflected concerns for their personal safety, or for the safety of others, will be reviewed individually and enrollment decisions will be made in full compliance with Pennsylvania law and with the State Board of Education regulations.

Discrimination Policy

It is the policy of the PA Virtual Charter School that no person be denied admission to the school or be denied participation in, be denied benefits of, or be discriminated against in any curricular, extracurricular, student services, recreational or other program or activities, shall not be abridged or impaired because of the person’s sex, race, religion, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation or physical, mental, emotional or learning disability as required by state and federal statutes. This policy also prohibits discrimination as defined by Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (sex), Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (race and national origin) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (handicap). Address all inquiries or complaints regarding this policy to: Joanne Barnett, Chief Executive Officer, PA Virtual Charter School, 630 Park Avenue, King of Prussia, PA 19406, 866.728.2751.
