Our school is a free public school from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our faculty and staff are committed to partnering with our parents, our curriculum providers, and our family support services coordinators to ensure that your entire family is supported and your child is successful. Our proven model of education combines the highest academic standards with innovative practices and lessons tailored specifically to meet your child's individual needs. Enrollment Checklist

  1. Watch our introductory video to become more knowledgeable about the Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School – our mission and our model.
  2. After the introductory video choose the Continue button. This will allow you to view our modules - which will cover a number of areas: a general academic overview; information on family support; technology; and various school programs: Elementary School, Intermediate School, Middle School and High School which can be viewed separately.
  3. Once you have viewed these modules you will be taken to the application form. Answer all of the questions on the application. When your application is complete click the Submit button. You will then be contacted by an Assistant Director of Enrollment.
  4. You will need to provide your:
    • Child’s Birth Certificate
    • Child’s Immunization Record
    • Child’s most recent Report Card
    • Your Proof of Residence (Driver’s License or Government Issued Photo ID is preferred, or you can use: Entire Mortgage Statement, Lease Agreement, Home Utility Bill)
  5. The last step is a face to face interview with an Assistant Director of Enrollment

Note for Special Education Students: If your child was/is receiving special education services we will need the most recent copies of the IEP, NOREP and ER/RR

Enrollment Overview

At the end of our informational videos, you will be provided with a link to start the enrollment process which will require you to view our enrollment modules. Once you have viewed all of the modules, you will be directed to our application page.

Enrollment Policy

PAVCS is currently accepting eligible students in grades K-12 on a first-come, first-serve basis. All students who reside in Pennsylvania are eligible to be admitted. Admission to the school is based on age and completion and submission of all enrollment forms and materials. PAVCS is a public school open to residents of Pennsylvania and does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, family income, national origin, or disability.

PAVCS cannot enroll students who have been expelled from their previous school, students who have been suspended for certain reasons, or who have pending truancy issues.
