In 2006, Pennsylvania Virtual Charter school began using Blackboard as a means to bring more organization and order to the daily lives of the PAVCS family. The Blackboard learning management system allows the school day to be more uniform and structured in terms of point of reference and as a resource for lessons, materials, interaction and feedback. This change is in keeping with our core values, as PAVCS continually strives to augment state-of-the-art technology with tried and true educational practices.
