Our FSC (Family Support Coordinators) organized service learning projects in their local communities and worked with Jump Rope for Heart, Koats for Kids, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Make A Wish Foundation.
Here is a video highlight from our 2015 Ugly Quilts program where PA Virtual Charter school students, families, and teachers from across the state took action to help the homeless. An Ugly Quilt can best be described as an emergency sleeping bag. Made from recycled fabrics, the Quilt’s sole purpose is to provide warmth to those who need it most. Included in each Ugly Quilt donation were a variety of basic toiletries. In total we made 36 Ugly Quilts!
